Vice President Harris will join media mogul Oprah Winfrey for a livestream event Thursday night, which is expected to highlight grassroot support for the Democratic presidential nominee.

The event will take place from 8-10 p.m. EDT, when the vice president is in Farmington Hills, Mich. Harris is set to travel to the Great Lakes State on Thursday afternoon, when she also will spend some time in Detroit to mark another visit to a swing state.

The two-hour event titled “Unite for America” will be streamed on YouTube, and the page includes a message from Harris: “Tune in as I join my friend Oprah to discuss the issues that matter most to working families.”

The event page reads, “Whether you’re part of pro-Harris grassroots groups like #WinWithBlackWomen, Swifties for Kamala, or White Dudes for Harris, or even if you are new to our campaign, this will be the place to assemble, organize, and mobilize under one big tent.”

Also on Thursday night, Trump will address the “Fighting Anti-Semitism in America” event alongside Miriam Adelson, the widow of longtime GOP donor Sheldon Adelson, and other Jewish leaders.

The event at 6 p.m. EDT will take place in Washington, and the Trump campaign argued that, “While Kamala Harris has a troubling history of affiliating with individuals and organizations linked to antisemites, President Trump has stood firmly for religious freedom and the protection of all religions.”

Oprah spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August, where she identified herself as an independent and told the audience that “decency and respect are on the ballot” in November.  She made her first public political endorsement in 2008 when she backed former President Obama.
